US lumberjacker Nancy Zalewski broke her own record in 2013 for the most Lumberjack World Championships wins by a woman. Zalewski has now won the Lady Jill title a record nine times (2003–4 and 2007–13). The World Championships are held annually in Hayward, Wisconsin, USA, and this year's were held on 25–27 July. The All-Around Lady Jill title is given to the woman who scores the most points throughout the entire competition. The All-Around women's events are: Underhand Chop, Single Buck, Jack and Jill, Log Rolling and the Boom Run.

Nancy Zalewski also holds the record for the Women's Single Buck 11.61 sec, set in 2006 and the Women's Underhand Chop 27.28 sec, set in 2011.
