Most E3 awards

BioShock Infinite (Irrational Games, 2013), the third title in the BioShock series, scooped an amazing 75 editorial honours when it previewed at the E3 2011 trade show in Los Angeles, USA. The tally included 39 “Game of the Show” awards, among them the “Game Critics Awards’ Best of Show”, which is the industry’s most coveted E3 gong. The “Best of Show” award is voted for by the Games Critics Awards, an umbrella organization made up of 35 North American media outlets who report on videogaming. Some of the members include newspaper USA Today, magazines Wired and Entertainment Weekly, and gaming websites GameSpot and 1UP.
