The greatest professional Halo team ever is Final Boss (USA), which dominated Major League Gaming (MLG) for nearly a decade thanks to gamer Tom “Ogre2” Ryan and his now-retired twin brother Dan “Ogre1” Ryan (both USA). The team won a whopping $234,000 (£149,000) playing Halo 3 alone, and $318,000 (£202,000) in total. Final Boss won the MLG National Championships in 2004, 2005 and 2006, earning an eight-game winning streak – the longest winning streak in MLG history – along the way. “Ogre2” also has the most MLG wins in Halo. He has been MLG National Champion for every game in the franchise, and is the only player in MLG history to have won four National Championships. As of 20 August 2012, he has 24 tournament wins (three more than his closest competitor).
