Thirteen-year-old Leyla Hasso (UK) wasn’t even born when Super Mario Kart (Nintendo EAD) was released on the SNES in 1992, but that hasn’t stopped her from climbing to the top of the female time trial circuit in the game. As of 19 September 2012, Leyla held 30 out of 40 possible time trial records on the PAL version of the game, including her speedy completions of the Donut Plains 1, Choco Island 1, Bowser Castle 2 and Rainbow Road tracks.
