The longest chain of paper hearts is 2,381.63 metres(7,812 feet 0.5 inches) and was achieved by Synergy Association International (China) in Hong Kong SAR, China, on 31 January 2026

The organiser (a local NGO) spent half a year preparing this charity record attempt to raise funds for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), aiming to increase public awareness and support for them. By taking on this world record challenge, the event sought to amplify its social impact, encourage wider participation and donations, and strengthen the resources and assistance available to SEN children across the community. Through the power of collective effort, this event fosters inclusion within the community—spreading love throughout Hong Kong and beyond—so that every child may enjoy equal opportunities for growth, recognise their own value, and realise their full potential.
