The largest gathering of people dressed as Dragon Ball characters consisted of 307 people and was achieved by members of the public at the Saló del Manga comic festival. The attempt was organised by Editorial Planeta (Spain) and took place in Barcelona, Spain, on 1 November 2012.
Saló del Manga is the biggest Manga fair in Spain. This record was attempted to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Dragon Ball's first publication in Spain. Costumes included characters from Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT Kai.
