The final world record is held by Gorazd Francek Tirsek (Slovenia), who scored 706.8 points in Antalya, Turkey, on 4 May 2012. SH2 shooters use a stand for support as they have an impairment that affects one or both of their arms. Bradley Mark's Paralympic record of 600 points was matched by Thomas Johansson (Sweden) in Sydney, Australia, on 20 October 2000 and Damjan Pavlin (Slovenia) in the qualifying round in London, UK, on 1 September 2012. London 2012 gold medallist Vasyl Kovalchuk's (Ukraine) 706.4 points on 1 September was a new final world record at the Paralympic Games.
