The farthest female F54 javelin throw is 20.25 metres, achieved by Flora Ugwunwa (Nigeria) on 13 September 2016; for an F55 athlete the farthest throw is 23.26 metres, achieved by Diana Dadzite (Latvia) on 10 September 2016. Both records were set at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The farthest Javelin throw for an F56 athlete is 24.03 metres, achieved by Martina Willing (Germany) in Berlin, Germany, on 13 June 2008.
