Nassima Saifi is an Algerian F58-class discus thrower who achieved a distance of 40.99 metres in Christchurch, New Zealand, on 29 January 2011. Her fellow countrywoman, Nadia Medjmedj, competes in the F57 class and threw 30.59 metres in Tunis, Tunisia, on 17 June 2008. Saifi and Medjmedj also hold the Paralympic records in their respective classes, with Saifi's 40.34 metres good enough for the gold medal at the London Paralympic Games on 4 September 2012 and Medjmedj's 28.74 metres coming in Beijing, China, on 16 September 2008.
