The final of the women's F57/F58 shot put, for wheelchair athletes who throw from a seated position, was won by Angeles Ortiz Hernandez (Mexico) with an F58 throw of 11.43 metres at the Paralympic Games in London, UK, on 8 September 2012. The F57 record-holder is Nadia Medjmedj (Algeria), who produced a throw of 10.93 metres at the Paralympic Games in Beijing, China, on 9 September 2008.
