Athletes in the sport classes F35-38 have sufficient function in throwing ability from a standing position without support or aids. F35 athletes are typically more affected in the legs with moderate hypertonia and generally have coordination in the throwing arm. F36 athletes often have moderate athetosis, ataxia and sometimes hypertonia or a mixture of these affecting all four limbs.
