Infinity tumbling is a loop-like manoeuvre in which the man and rig describe a circle in the vertical. It is a difficult manoeuvre that has much in common with a children’s swing, balancing momentum and aerodynamic forces. The pilot experiences 6G in every rotation. Horacio Llorens (Spain), a four-time paragliding world champion, managed 568 consecutive loops on 21 December 2012 after jumping from a helicopter at 6,000 m (19,700 ft) and deploying his paraglider rig, lines first, from a bag attached to the floor. The attempt was made in the skies over the Tak'alik Ab'aj archaeological site in Guatemala.
