China made an historic clean sweep of the five badminton events at the 2012 Olympic Games held in London, UK, winning gold medals in the men's singles (Lin Dan), women's singles (Li Xuerui), men's doubles (Cai Yun and Fu Haifeng), women's doubles (Zhao Yunlei and Tian Qing) and mixed doubles (Zhang Nan and Zhao Yunlei).
