Jackson has played for the Seattle Storm in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) since 2001.
Jackson has won three silver medals at the Olympic Games (2000-08), on each occasion being denied gold by a USA team featuring Lisa Leslie (see below).
Jackson has now scored more points at the Olympics than Janeth Arcain (Brazil), who scored 535 points in 1992-2004 on her way to winning silver at Atlanta 1996 and bronze at Sydney 2000. Lisa Leslie (USA) is third on the list with 499 points in 1996-2008. Leslie won four consecutive gold medals in those years.
Jackson also holds the record for most points scored in a WNBA match by an individual (record ID 65218), an achievement she shares with Diana Taurasi (USA).
