Ben Ainslie (UK) is the most decorated sailor in Olympic history, winning gold medals at four successive Games. Ainslie won the Laser class at Sydney 2000 and picked up gold medals in the Finn class at Athens 2004, Beijing 2008 and London 2012. He also won a silver medal, in the Laser class, at Atlanta 1996.
Ainslie won his fourth gold medal at Nothe peninsula, Weymouth, UK, on 5 August 2012.
His total medal count equals that of Brazilian sailor - Torben Grael (BRA), with 2 golds, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze medals won between, 1984-2004.
