Most individual Olympic medals won in canoe-slalom

Michal Martikán (Slovakia) has won five medals in canoe-slalom at the Olympic Games, all in the C-1 category. He picked up gold medals at Atlanta 1996 and Beijing 2008, silver medals at Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004 and a bronze medal at London 2012. The London 2012 canoe-slalom events took place at Hertfordshire's Lee Valley White Water Centre, situated between Waltham Cross and Waltham Abbey.
