Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh (both USA) have won a record 32 consecutive sets in Olympic beach volleyball competition, a winning streak that dates back to the Olympic Games in Athens, Greece, in 2004. The pair collected gold medals at Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008 and won their first two matches at London 2012 without dropping a set, extending their winning run to 16 consecutive matches. Among their many other achievements, May-Treanor and Walsh set an all-time record by winning 112 consecutive domestic and international matches between 24 August 2007 and 31 August 2008. The pair also won 89 matches in a row from 5 July 2003 to 6 June 2004, the second best winning streak ever. See record ID 69468.
