The largest scale model of a car tyre is the 24.38-m (80-ft) Uniroyal Giant in Allen Park, Michigan, USA. The eight-story roadside icon was originally built as a Ferris wheel in 1964 for the 1965 World Fare in New York, USA, but was relocated to the Uniroyal sales office in Allen Park, off Interstate-94, in Michigan.
The 10.8-tonne (12-ton) tire was renovated in 1994, when it was given a sleek, modern look with a new hubcap, then again in 1998 and 2003.
