The Beatles' (UK) chart debut, Please Please Me, spent the most consecutive weeks at No.1 on the UK Official Albums Chart – 30, from 11 May to 30 November 1963. The "Fab Four" also have the most cumulative weeks at No.1 on the UK albums chart: 176, as of 1 March 2026.
The multi-artist South Pacific soundtrack amassed 70 consecutive weeks at No.1 in 1958–60, but the performers are not considered a group for the purposes of this record.
Simon & Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water is the studio album with the most weeks at No.1 overall (33), but only 13 of those weeks were achieved consecutively.
