The most UWW World Wrestling Championships won by a wrestler in the Women's Freestyle category is 13 and was achieved by Saori Yoshida (Japan) between 2 November 2002 and 9 September 2015.

Saori Yoshida won her first 11 titles in the 55 kg class before stepping down a weight category in 2014 to win gold in the 53 kg weight class in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. She competed in the 53kg weight class in the latest championship held in Las Vegas as well.
