Adele (UK, b. Adele Adkins) became the first artist in US chart history to achieve a No.1 album (21) concurrently with three No.1 singles. “Rolling in the Deep” (for four non-consecutive weeks from 21 May 2011) and “Someone Like You” (on 5 November 2011) both crowned the Hot 100 at the same time as 21 led the Billboard 200, and Adele broke the record when “Set Fire to the Rain” climbed to No.1 on 4 February 2012 – the same week 21 notched up a 17th non-consecutive frame at No.1.
“Rolling in the Deep” and 21 were No.1 concurrently on 21 May, 28 May, 4 June & 25 June 2011.
