The fastest open-class (concept) solo row of the Atlantic east to west along the “Trade Winds I” route was achieved by Mark Slats (Netherlands), who rowed 2,550 nautical miles (4,722 km) from La Gomera to Antigua in 30 days 7 hr 49 min at an average speed of 3.503 knots between 14 December 2017 and 13 January 2018 on board Peanuts.
