In many mammals (although not in humans, whales, marsupials, rabbits, hyaenas, or various hoofed species), the penis contains a bone known as the baculum. The world's longest mammalian baculum is that of the walrus Odobenus rosmarus, which can measure 75 cm (29.527 in) – the length of a human thigh bone!
