The largest clutch of eggs laid by a single specimen of dinosaur is 34, as discovered by palaeontologists alongside a fossilised skeleton of Psittacosaurus. This was a 1-m-long species of herbivorous beaked dinosaur that lived in Mongolia 115–105 million years ago, during the Cretaceous Period.
