Niagara Falls, located on the border of Canada and the USA, receives 22,500,000 visitors a year and is the world's most visited waterfall. It is also the fifth most popular tourist attraction in the world, ahead of all of the Disneylands, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Great Wall of China.
About six million cubic feet of water – from a height ranging from 70 to 188 feet – pour over the fall every minute. While there are about 500 taller waterfalls in the world, Niagara Falls is more accessible than most, requiring just a short flight or drive for millions of regional visitors.
