The most couples renewing their wedding vows on a theme park ride is 41 in an event organised by Signal 1 Radio (UK) in Alton Towers Resort, Staffordshire, UK, on 9 February 2012.
The 'Oblivion' ride was operated continuously and only couples participating in the attempt rode. One couple had to be disqualified as the husband didn't feel well but his wife stayed on until the end of the ride.
