The world record for the most tennis balls held in the mouth by a dog at one time is five. Augie, a golden retriever owned by the Miller family in Dallas, Texas, USA, successfully gathered and held all five regulation-sized tennis balls on 6 July 2003
The longest tongue on a dog measures 18.58 cm (7.31 in) and belongs to Mochi, a female St. Bernard owned by Carla and Craig Rickert (both USA) and was measured in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, USA, on 25 August 2016.
The most balls caught by a dog with the paws in one minute is 14 and was achieved by Purin and her owner Makoto Kumagai (both Japan) in Sakura, Chiba, Japan, on 22 March 2015
Tigger, a bloodhound St Joseph, Illinois, USA, with very floppy ears, has the longest ever. They 34.9 cm (13.75 in) and 34.2 cm (13.5 in) for the right and left ears, respectively, on 29 September 2004
The most jumps over a moving human leg by a dog in thirty seconds is 38, achieved by Daifuku and Toshiaki Kasuga (both Japan) on the set of 24Hour Television: Love Saves the Earth, in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan, on 26 August 2018

The longest-running pet shelter on a single site is Battersea Dogs & Cats Home (UK), which has been operating in the same location in London, UK, since 13 May 1871 – a duration of 145 years 312 days as of 21 March 2017.
Gibson became the largest dog in the world in 2004. The Harlequin Great Dane owned by Sandy Hall of Grass Valley, California, USA, measured measured 107 cm (42.2 in) tall and was the world’s biggest dog until 2009.
