YouTuber builds tallest domino tower inside historic Washington D.C. building

What's up, Domino community? Today, we are attempting to break the world record for the tallest domino structure

Currently, the record to beat is 32.9 feet tall, so I gathered a team of expert domino artists and we got to work

Meet our lead tower builders. We've got Steven from Stay Fon Top, Marco from Rollercoaster 3 Freak, and Michael from Stick Trick Domino Dude

Together, we were about to do the impossible. I'm excited. This is something I've wanted to do for a long time

I want you to keep this in mind. I don't really love heights. Hoping to get it to 34 feet. I think that's around 450-ish levels

So this is our floor surface. It's a platform that we're going to be building on. It's two feet by two feet, but the tower is probably going to be a little less than that

We're going to use the octo tower technique. So rather than a square side, it's going to be pillars of these octagon

And hopefully that makes it a little bit more stable so that we can build it taller without it tipping over

We've got two scissor lifts. We've got a team. I'm just really hoping we can break it without it falling over by accident

Let's start building! Navigating the scissor lift, we just had to make sure we were practicing ahead of time

How's the view from there? Pretty good. Good? Nice. We've just finished day one of the tower

There were some dominoes that got dropped inside? Yes, so actually more than one are just in the structure right now

So there's a few dominoes that are still there only because there's so much weight on top of them

them Steven accidentally lets a domino fall into the center Three dominoes I think are knocked out At this point we had two choices

Either A, continue building on top of the broken pieces and risk the tower collapsing unexpectedly

or B, attempt to fix it, but with the caveat that there was an extremely high chance

that we may actually topple it in attempting to repair it. After much deliberation, we decide to keep building

Check out our world record attempt. It is super tall at this point

We've started building the 2x2 pillar, and it's getting a little wobbly, like uneven

Hoping it stays up till tomorrow, because I think we can finish. The tower could collapse at any moment now, so we had to finish soon
