An ICON because...
When he was a child in West Newbury, Massachusetts, John Cena used to craft his own WWE belts from cardboard while playing with his brothers. Today, he is one of the most famous faces of mainstream wrestling, a multiple Guinness World Records title holder, and a role model for entire generations.
True to his ‘never give up’ attitude, John boasts the most WWE championship titles (male) – 17 titles throughout his career – and a popularity that transcended wrestling itself, turning him into a true pop icon. His legendary motto “You can’t see me!” has made history.
Although the pro wrestler stepped off the ring in December 2025, that goodbye only marked a new beginning.
Proving to have an unstoppable hunger for life in and out of the ring, John pursued his acting and rap careers whilst serving as a WWE brand ambassador and continuing to portray a heroic persona despite his recent shocking heel turn.
Furthermore, the champ is also known for his remarkable charity endeavours. In July 2022, he broke the record for most wishes granted through the Make-A-Wish Foundation: an amazing 650 wishes, all granted to kids between the ages of two and 18.
