If so, you might want to plan a trip to Shanghai, China to catch a glimpse of the world’s largest Ultraman.

And it won’t be hard to spot given that the sculpture weighs a whopping 3.8 tons (8,377 lb) and stands four storeys high.

The giant statue is based on the famous Ultraman Zero and is dressed in the iconic red and blue battle suit.

It stands 10.4 metres (34.12 ft) high and is pulling off one of the character’s signature poses, looking ready to jump to Earth’s defense.

The impressive sculpture was made by more than 20 people and is on display at Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park, where fans are invited to come and meet him.

The venue is also home to the world’s first Ultraman-themed park, where fans can fully immersive themselves in the hero’s universe.

Did you know?

The Ultraman series also holds the Guinness World Records title for the most TV spin-off series.

As of 2015, there were 33 spin-offs based on the original Ultraman (Japan).

The original Ultraman TV series aired between July 1966 and April 1967.

The latest TV spin-off, Ultraman X, first aired in July 2015.
