Thrilled three-year-old becomes youngest person to visit every Disney park in the world
For many kids, the opportunity to visit a Disney theme park is a dream come true.
Yet for one lucky three-year-old, it’s another step on the way to achieving a Guinness World Records title!
Yesterday, Bootsie Darrington (USA) became the youngest person to visit every Disney theme park on Earth, at the incredible age of 3 years and 139 days old.
Accompanied by her five-year-old brother, Briggs, and parents Jess and Steve – known for their travel social media content @WhereIsBriggs – the little girl was grinning ear-to-ear as she accepted her award in Disneyland Paris, France.
For years, the family has traversed the world while sharing tips and tricks on their page, offering advice to others about how to make travelling more manageable with young children. Based in Idaho Falls, Idaho, USA, their feed is full of plane trips, hotel rooms, and excursions from America and beyond.
Bootsie and Briggs have been a part of the journey since day one, and both were so excited to attend all 12 Disney parks during their adventures.
“We are incredibly proud of Bootsie for achieving this Guinness World Records title,” said her mother Jess.
“Visiting all 12 Disney theme parks has been such a special journey for our family, and seeing Bootsie experience each park, enjoy the rides and make memories with her favourite person – her big brother Briggs – has made it even more meaningful.”
Bootsie’s record-setting trip officially started in March 2024, when she was just 11 months old, while at Disney Seas Tokyo in Japan. From there, the family travelled across four countries and three continents – including the major sites in California and Florida – before ending up in Paris.
They wanted to show that travel with young children is possible and rewarding, and deliberately made sure that their kids experienced the cultures, attractions, and traditions unique to each destination.
Unsurprisingly, Bootsie said the best part was getting to do it all alongside her brother Briggs, who she described as her favourite person to share the excitement with.
After touching down at Disneyland France and making their way through the Ratatouille-decorated streets, the family was delighted to end their journey with a memorable ceremony alongside Guinness World Records Adjudicator William Sinden, who announced Bootsie as the youngest champion.
William described the meeting with the family as a “real pleasure”, and said: “it was lovely to see just how much fun Bootsie and her family have had throughout their journey.
“I hope this is an adventure they will all look back on fondly for many years to come.”
