Foosball fans from 48 different countries unite to play on record-breaking longest table
If you’ve been enjoying watching the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and wish you could take part in the sport without all the running on the field… have you ever considered foosball?
And don’t worry – with a table this large, everyone can play!
This was the spirit that brought Teremana Tequila to create the longest table football/foosball table on Earth, unveiled on 11 July at Brooklyn Navy Yard near the waterfront of New York City, New York, USA.
Spanning a record-breaking 525 ft (160.04 m) – longer than the average city block – this incredible creation is roughly the length of 112 regular foosball tables put together.
And last Saturday, they invited everyone in Brooklyn to grab a handle and join in on a match!
Attendees were given multicoloured Teremana Tequila jerseys, which featured removable patches that could be swapped for any available national flag. And from the excited crowd, an amazing total of 48 different countries were represented around the table.
“Mana (good spirit) has always been at the heart of Teremana and our belief that good energy is contagious,” said Richard Black, CEO of Teremana Tequila, in a statement before the attempt. “The World Table brings that spirit to life during one of the biggest sporting moments of the year, creating an opportunity for fans from 48 nations to celebrate their shared passion, connect across cultures, and make history together.
“While we're aiming to set a Guinness World Records title, the event is ultimately about fostering community, creating memorable experiences, and sharing the Mana with fans from around the world.”

Teremana Tequila is an alcoholic spirit founded in 2020 by actor and wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (USA). Produced in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, the company has quickly become one of the fastest-growing premium tequila brands in the United States – and although The Rock was sadly not present at the attempt, he did sign the foosball table.
Celebrities did make appearances at the World Table, however – such as comedian Jay Pharoah, who provided live play-by-play commentary during the event.
And other influencers and social media stars also took their turns spinning the foosball rods, but they played side-by-side with the public as everyone enjoyed the collaborative nature of the sport.
“The event went smoothly, despite the warm temperatures,” said Guinness World Records Adjudicator Michael Empric, who witnessed the attempt. “The foosball table was very impressive in person, as it spanned more than a city block!”
Finally, after participants had a chance to play with the table, Michael and the rest of the event organizers took to the stage to announce that they had officially won the record for the longest table football/foosball table in the world.
They took the title from Der Bremer and KP Agency (both Türkiye), who assembled a 497 ft 8.4 in (151.70 m) long table back in 2023.
And following the announcement, the crowd was officially in great spirits, and they took their turns exploring the giant foosball table and enjoying the tacos and cocktails provided by the brand.
Everyone was eager to get a spin, as Teremana Tequila promised that at the conclusion of the night, the massive game would be broken up into regulation-size tables and distributed to clients and non-profits across the country.
