Lawnmower powered by record-breaking engine mows football field in less than 15 minutes
On a beautiful spring day in Louisville, Kentucky, USA, as the birds chirped and the people went about their business, the sound of a lawnmower was heard from the Great Lawn near the waterfront… but only for 15 minutes.
In roughly the time it takes to have a shower, power technology company Rehlko was able to set a new Guinness World Records title for the fastest time to mow the area of an American football field (ride-on lawnmower).
Finishing in an impressive time of 14 minutes and 51.06 seconds, the achievement was made possible by the performance of the Command PRO 999 cc (41 hp) gasoline engine, which delivered the power and consistency needed to maintain record-breaking cutting speed across the entire field. Especially as it was being driven by social media influencer and “Lawn Queen” Hali Rieman!
To demonstrate the power of their energy systems, Rehlko – formerly known as Kohler Energy – decided to tackle one of the most time-consuming tasks in the garden. By equipping the most powerful gasoline engine in the company's portolio on to a ride-on mower, they were convinced that they could complete the chore faster and more efficiently than their competitors.
And where else is better to test a lawnmower's record-breaking engine, but in Kentucky – the Bluegrass State?

On 16 May, the talented professionals at Rehlko joined Louisville locals at the iconic waterfront TurfMutt Great Lawn, where they would be completing their attempt along the rough grass in front of the Ohio River.
The company invited influencer Hali Rieman to be the pilot of their superpowered product, as the social media star has amassed over 30,000 followers on Instagram with her satisfying lawncare videos.
“Never in a million years did I think that my love for lawn care would lead to opportunities like this!” she excitedly said on social media.
“From mowing grass in my yard to being part of something this big – it’s been such a fun journey, and I’m so grateful for every opportunity and every person supporting me along the way.”
Finally, after everyone was assembled on the lawn, Guinness World Records Adjudicator Michael Empric signalled for Hali to start – and as the engine began to whir, the star zoomed off on the ride-on mower, rapidly chopping all grass in sight with its cutting-edges engine technology!
Soon enough, in less than 15 minutes, Hali had mowed the entire football field-sized space, cleanly covering roughly 57,600 sq ft (5,350 sq m) without ever having to leave the seat of the machine.
“That was so much fun!” gushed the event organizers at Rehlko, as Michael handed them the prize.
