On 8 April, Microsoft Corporation launched a first-of-its-kind artificial intelligence (AI) Skills Fest to a global audience in Redmond, Washington USA, with an interesting goal – to make learning fun and record-breaking.

So they invited participants across their platform to take part in an official record attempt to secure the title for most users to take a multi-level online artificial intelligence lesson in 24 hours.

The lessons were part of a global initiative with 50 days of learning, targeting technology and business professionals, along with next generation learners.

And Microsoft prepared training that encompassed skills like simplifying everyday tasks, crafting effective prompts, creating AI-powered applications, developing AI chat apps, and using AI to secure your data.

Users had to complete training sessions delivered by Microsoft and Microsoft partners, answer questions to prove engagement, and attest completion to qualify for the record attempt.

And they had to do it all within 24 hours!

But when the total number of completed tests were counted at the end of the day, Microsoft found that an amazing 126,151 users passed – securing them the record title!

Microsoft and Guinness World Records partnered up to announce the accomplishment at the kickoff of the AI Skills Fest, and they were met with excited cheers by the audience.
