World's longest bicycle zip wire promises both adrenaline and stunning scenery
A new Guinness World Records title was achieved in the paradise of Cabo San Lucas, Baja California, Mexico. Cactus Tours set the record by inaugurating the world’s longest bicycle zip wire, measuring an impressive 339.39 metres (1,113.48 ft).
The breathtaking zip wire offers an adventure-filled, adrenaline-pumping experience over the stunning desert landscape of Baja California Sur, reinforcing Los Cabos's reputation as a premier destination for adventure tourism.
The primary goal of this record title is to showcase Cabo San Lucas as a world-class, one-of-a-kind destination for nature-based adventure tourism, providing safety, innovation, and excitement while also making a positive impact on the local economy.
This project is the result of years of hard work, guided by a clear vision and strategic planning. Thousands of dedicated collaborators came together to achieve a shared goal, transforming it into a global milestone.

Guinness World Records Adjudicator Alfredo Arista Rueda was present during the record attempt, ensuring that all GWR guidelines were strictly followed.

Cactus Tours' zip wire is an innovative concept that promotes adventure and cutting-edge design.
The architect behind the project, José Pizarro, stated that the entire construction process was carried out following the highest safety standards while ensuring a unique experience for adventurers from around the world.

In addition to the zip wire, the record holder offers a variety of activities, including off-road vehicle tours and camel rides. Each experience is designed to provide excitement, safety, and an authentic connection to the stunning nature of Los Cabos.
The previous record holder was TOROVERDE Adventure Park, located in Orocovis, Puerto Rico, with a bike zip wire measuring 322.25 m (1,057 ft 3 in).
