Cake stand adorned with Swarovski crystals is most expensive valued at £15,000
Prop Options in association with Renshaw (both UK), has created the most expensive cake stand, which is valued at a staggering £15,000 ($20,020).
The award-winning manufacturer is an expert in creating premium cake stand props, used by commercial bakers, wedding cake designers, and hospitality venues worldwide.

Prop Options says that "cake stands are at the heart of our company" and have spent many years elevating the standards in cake presentation.
This latest endeavour by the team follows the brand's creation of a 2 m high, tiered birthday cake installed at the entrance of the Cake International event, based at NEC Birmingham.
Prop Options wanted their next creation to represent the team's passion, creativity and innovation.
The cake stand took around five to six months from conception to completion.

The stunning cake stand is forged with mirror-polished marine-grade 316 stainless steel and adorned with 30,000 Swarovski Crystals.
A Swarovski specialist meticulously hand-embellished the crystals individually on the cake stand.
The one-of-a-kind stand was unveiled at Cake International as the main entrance installation.
It was positioned beside a life-sized security guard created by cake artist Ben Cullen to protect the stand, of course.

Creating this cake stand has been one of the most ambitious projects we’ve ever taken on. It showcases the craftmanship, creativity and ambition at the heart of Prop Options. Achieving a Guinness World Records title is something we’re incredibly proud of, and it reflects the passion of our whole team” – Brad Young, Director at Prop Options

As a small, independent company, Prop Options is particularly proud of its dedicated team for achieving something so extraordinary.
The cake stand has since been used for Hollywood star Terrence J’s wedding held at the Atlantis Hotel in Dubai, organized by baker Penelope Darcy Graham.
