To celebrate the launch of Ninja Gaiden 4, Xbox (USA) took the game sky high – literally.

In the largest video game display flown by helicopter, the game was displayed on a huge 20 m² (215 ft² 40 in²) screen as it was flown across Miami Beach, Florida.

The long-running videogame series is known for its fast-paced combat and challenging gameplay.

The stunt saw two helicopters fly side by side - one with Emmanuel ‘’Master’’ Rodriquez, the team NINJA community manager, and one carrying diamond-certified recording artist Swae Lee.

Both played the game from one helicopter with the screen dangling from another helicopter.

High in the sky, the main character was seen Yakumo leaping into action and battling enemies across an enormous screen.

Both seamlessly controlled the character from a second helicopter flying parallel.

The inspiration behind the stunt comes straight from the city of Tokyo with the floods of neon lights and tall building skyscrapers.

Technology played a massive role in making the dream a reality.

Using advanced sports broadcasting tech, Xbox created real-time live gameplay from Emmanuel’s helicopter to the screen.

This was built by aerial media company HELI-D, where timing and precision was crucial in this attempt.

The audience to this extraordinary feat were passengers on departing cruise ships.

The whole idea was epic to play Ninja Gaiden 4 on a floating big screen across the Miami Skyline. We are so excited for our fans and community - Emmanuel “Master” Rodriguez, the Team NINJA community manager
