City of Gold verifies largest EVER bar of gold that's 20 times heavier than a normal one

Dubai, UAE, dubbed The City of Gold, The Jewel of the Desert, and The Pearl of the Middle East, proved once again that its nicknames were granted for a reason...
With its latest jaw-dropping achievement for the largest bar of gold.
Achieved by Emirates Minting Factory LLC, the record-shattering bar of gold weighs 300.12 kg (661.65 lb), which is 20 times the weight of an average gold bar.
A leading entity in the region when it comes to the precious metals industry, the company had this goal in mind for a while to honour Dubai and showcase their gratitude to all the support they had along the way.
This blingy record stood for almost 20 years before it was shattered by 50 kg by the Dubai based company. The record was previously held by Mitsubishi Materials Corporation in June 2005.
What’s even more impressive than an enormous gold bar is the fact that it is with 999.9 purity, a feat redefining global standard.
Chairman of Emirates Minting Factory, Essa Al Falasi, said: “The UAE has played an enormous role in shaping the global precious metals market, and this record is our way of showing appreciation for the country’s support. The largest gold bar in the world is not just a record; it’s a gift to the UAE.”
