Philips and PSV Eindhoven continue in world's longest sports sponsorship deal
Technology brand Philips and its workers founded the club PSV Eindhoven back in 1913 as a pastime.
Today, 24 Eredivisie titles and KNVB Cups later, Philips have been confirmed as having the record for longest time to sponsor a sports team.
PSV, which stands for Philips Sport Vereniging (Philips Sport Association), announced the record with the presence of Guinness World Records Adjudicator Joanne Brent at their annual gala.

CEO of the club Marcel Brands said: "Although the interpretation of the sponsorship has changed over the years, we are happy with Philips' commitment."
PSV are the second most successful team in Dutch football history and are a club rich with history.
Greats such as Ruud Gullit, Jaap Stam and Brazilian superstar Ronaldo all had success at the club before moving on to Europe's biggest teams.
They have also had their fair share of notable coaches too, including Ronald Koeman, Guus Hiddink and Sir Bobby Robson.
And their partnership begun at the very same site that PSV play their home games on today in central Eindhoven, just a few miles from Philips' Eindhoven headquarters.

Philips CEO Roy Jakobs said: "This is a great example of how we as a company stand for long-term partnerships based on innovation, relationship and impact.
"With our innovations in health technology, we contribute to PSV's better performance in multiple areas."
