A new record for the largest attendance at a lecture was set in Gaya, Bihar, India on 26 November.

375,603  people attended the lecture on the outskirts of Bodh Gaya hosted by Prem Rawat, an international speaker and author.

That’s close to selling out London’s Wembley Stadium four times over!

Prem also holds the record for largest audience at a book reading for a single author, set back in April with 114,704 people in attendance.

The event was hosted by Words of Peace Global (WPOG) an independent charitable foundation set up by individuals inspired by Global Ambassador of Peace and Prem.

This is a new record title with a minimum attendance of 20,000 to beat.

The lecture was free for the public to attend.

The gates were open from 2 a.m. as participants queued up early to get a front row seat!

Due to the event’s large scale, a motion detector was placed on top of the gates to count participants in as they entered.
