Have you ever walked into an ice cream store and decided you wanted to try all the flavours they offer? That would be extremely difficult at the Abu Dhabi Shopping and Dining Season!
The season featured a successful record attempt for the most varieties of ice cream on display, with 1,001 ice cream flavours available at the Ice Cream Lab pop-up in Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Family favourites of vanilla, chocolate and strawberry are available, along with other, more adventurous flavours including:
- Cinnamon
- Unicorn Fruit Loops & Apple
- Pretzel & Honey
- Matcha & Coconut
- Granola & Cherry...
...and almost any other combination you can think of!
The Abu Dhabi Shopping and Dining Season is an event running until the 31 August that allows participants to partake in multiple interactive experiences, shopping offers and delicious ice cream at malls across Abu Dhabi.
Diners can beat the heat of the desert with an array of ice cream, featuring brands such as Pan-n-Ice.
Special menus are also available in partnership with The Huntr, and shoppers can take part in a Shop & Win promotion in partnership with Visa.
All activities during the festivities are being held under strict health and safety protocols in line with Government of Abu Dhabi.

- Largest ice cream cake: 10.13 tonnes (22,333.6 lb) and record was achieved by Dairy Queen Canada. The gigantic cake measured at 4.45 m (14 ft 7 in) long, 4.06 m (13 ft 3 in) wide, and 1 m (3 ft 3 in) tall.
- Tallest ice cream cone: 3.08 m (10 ft 1.26 in) in height and was achieved by Hennig-Olsen Is AS and Trond L Wøien (both Norway).
- Largest scoop of ice-cream: 1365kg and 312.93g (3,010 lb) and was created by Kemps LLC (USA).
- Most ice cream scoops balanced on a cone: 125 and was achieved by Dimitri Panciera (Italy)
