flyadeal (Saudi Arabia) in a one-of-a-kind initiative has successfully broken the record for the largest LED light bulb word as part of a campaign to thank all of their customers from over the years.

8,015 LED bulbs created the word "Shurkan", which means thank you in Arabic, in appreciation of their customers as the airline broke the 10 million customers milestone recently.

The word could be seen from the sky as it lit the runway of Thumamah Airport north of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

flyadeal was founded four years ago on the 23rd of September 2017; the Kingdoms’ National Day.

The massive thank you word measured at 280 square meters and took three days to complete.

The light bulb word was displayed on the runway of Thumamah Airport 60 km north of Riyadh city.

Following their successful attempt, flyadeal decided to gather all 8,015 LED bulbs and donate them to Tarmeem, a local charity in Saudi Arabia.
