With hedges as tall as a human, completing this maze looks quite the adventure.

Located in Yancheng, Jiangsu, China, the Yancheng Dafeng Dream Maze now has the Guinness World Records titles for Largest maze (permanent) and Largest hedge maze (permanent), covering 35,596.74 m² (383,160.12 ft²) as of Saturday 30 June. 

This record-breaking maze also has a third title; with a path measuring 9.45 km (5.87 miles) it also has the Largest pathway network in a hedge maze (permanent).

The hedge maze is the landmark project of Dream Maze scenic area with construction running from April-September 2017, when it was opened to the public.

The main puzzle is in the shape of an elk and is lined by more than 100,000 strains Juniperus chinensis (a type of shrub) and creates an image of a giant elk strutting through the green fields when viewed from the air.

The elk maze is also surrounded by a variety of different smaller routes to try including circular, children's, heart and glass mazes.

Due to its size there are more than 10 garden rest areas as well as games such as treasure hunting along with features such as observation towers and bridges.
