Lomonosov School in Moscow, Russia recently paid tribute to the renowned scientist and writer from which it gets its name by creating the world’s Largest text collage.
 
Over a number of weeks, 27,000 children and teachers from all over the country sent in written contributions to the school which were then arranged to form an enormous image of Mikhail Lomonosov in the sports hall.

It measured a whopping 306.74 m² (3,301 ft² 103 in²) and was composed of 332,145 word cards printed in 94 shades of white, grey and black.

Guinness World Records adjudicator Lucia Sinigagliesi came along to watch the attempt unfold and was thrilled to announce the kids had become official Guinness World Records title holders.
