Jellycat collector Hope Roberts has been telling us all about her adorable – and impressive - record title in the latest episode of Guinness World Records' podcast What’s The Record?

She sat down with host Will Munford and head of the website news section, Vicki Newman (hey, that’s me!) to chat about how her collection began, how it grew to record-breaking size and the community she’s found amongst other fans.

The British teenager was officially crowned owner of the largest collection of Jellycat memorabilia in December 2025 with an impressive total of 877.

By the time she joined us on the What’s The Record? sofa, her collection had already grown to 1,167.

And she shared her top tips for gathering a record-breaking collection on a budget.

Hope found her first-ever Jellycat in a charity shop and has hunted down various bargains since then.

She said: “A lot of them are second hand, gifts, charity shops, car boot sales.

“You don’t always have to get them brand new either.”

Hope, who has an impressive following on her Jellycat-dedicated Instagram page, also spoke fondly of the ‘Jellyfriends’ community and the pals she’s made around the world through her passion.

In one moment that left everyone in the studio falling about in giggles, Will asked Hope which Jellycat reminded her of him the most.

Her answer… honestly, it’s chef’s kiss.

We wouldn’t want him getting a big head now would we? Ha!
