Never say Never: Justin Bieber superfan identifies his songs in seconds to break record
A lifelong Justin Bieber fan is in the running for ‘Queen of the Beliebers’, after smashing a competitive fandom record title for the most Justin Bieber songs identified from their lyrics in one minute.
With remarkable ease, Luisa Fernanda Diazayas Tenorio (Mexico) named 33 of his songs in just 60 seconds, based entirely on the starting lyrics of the tune – displaying the confident familiarity that comes from years of loving his music.
Luisa, based in Mexico City, Mexico, first started following the artist in 2010 when she was just nine years old, and says that this record is a representation of the “love and connection that so many fans feel.”
“Being able to recognize his songs in seconds… reflects a real connection with his music,” she said to GWR. “Every song holds memories, emotions, and chapters of my life.
“His impact hasn’t only been on me, but on millions of fans around the world, and this achievement is also a tribute to that special bond we share as a community.”
Although she has wanted a Guinness World Records title since childhood, it wasn’t until Luisa discovered this specific JB record that she realized she could turn her passion for Justin Bieber into an unforgettable experience.
And despite her “instinctive” knowledge of his music, she knew that if she wanted to beat the record of 29 set by Bilal Ilyas Jhandir (Pakistan) – she’d have to prepare.
“Even though the attempt focused on songs from the Billboard Top 50, I truly feel like I could do it with his entire discography,” she said. “Whether it’s by lyrics or by the musical intros, it’s something that lives in me.
“I always joke – but I really mean it – if you see anything about Justin Bieber, your brain automatically thinks of me.”

One of the reasons this record was so special for her was because it comes from a place of “very deep admiration”, she says, which is “part of who I am and my essence”.
“His music has been so much more than just songs to me,” remarked Luisa, “It has been companionship, a refuge, and a source of inspiration throughout different moments of my life. So much so that I even have several tattoos related to him.”
She also says that she’s been to all of his concerts in Mexico City, including a special moment during the Justice Tour when she sat first row with her sister and was able to capture a selfie with her favourite artist.
“I haven’t met him in person yet, but it’s one of my biggest dreams – and I don’t just feel it in my heart, I know that moment will come,” she said.

So when 15 November rolled around, and she was finally ready to take on the title, Luisa knew that she would be showing off her love for Justin – as well as her skills.
She brought in two timekeepers and a couple witnesses to record her attempt and validate her efforts, before finally taking a seat and putting on the blindfold to start the attempt.
Using a random list generator, one of Luisa’s witnesses began rattling off the starting lyrics to Justin’s Top 50 Billboard songs, moving on as soon as she was able to identify the correct title.
Yet Luisa was locked-in, and after just a few words she would throw out the right name – guessing “Yummy” right after hearing “bona-fide Stallion”, and knowing “Beauty with a Beat” immediately following “Show you off…”
It therefore comes as no surprise, then, to find out that she successfully took the record – and Luisa celebrated the incredible moment by clapping her hands and breaking out into a huge smile.
“I still can’t believe it… I have a Guinness World Records title for my favourite artist!” she exclaimed. “WOW. It honestly feels unreal!”
Since I was a little girl, I always dreamed of having a Guinness World Records title, and thanks to the people around me, today that dream has become a reality. “Choosing something you truly love changes everything, because passion turns effort into something you genuinely enjoy,” she says. “Believe in yourself, even when it feels impossible, and don’t be afraid to dream big.
“Sometimes, the most meaningful dreams start with something as simple as deeply loving something and daring to make it visible.”
