During the five-month regular season, NFL teams travel around the country collecting wins and shaking off losses, pushing through setbacks and pulling off last-minute plays, all with the hopes of championship fame and keeping their fans entertained.

But this season, football superfan Brian Fowler (USA) was there with them every step of the way – as he completed an epic adventure that most supporters can only dream of.

Between 7 September 2025 and 4 January 2026, the California-native broke the Guinness World Records title for the most NFL games attended in a single season after watching an incredible total of 56 home games at fields across the country.

He also nabbed the thrilling title for the fastest time to visit all NFL stadiums on 30 November, midway through his journey, after hitting all 30 stadiums in just 72 days, 20 hours, and 56 minutes on the road.

For teams that share arenas – the Giants and Jets in New York, and the Chargers and Rams in LA – Brian would visit twice, until he ultimately snatched the record set by John Ryan Bailey (USA), who finished his adventure in 74 days, seven hours and 35 minutes in 2021.

In his application to GWR, Brian said he was inspired to take on the title after a lifetime of loving the sport (and supporting the Raiders). Although his family couldn’t afford to go to many games when he was younger, he described himself as “a student of NFL history”, who has stuck with his team unwaveringly despite their relocations and losses. You also might know him by his Raider Nation name, “All In! Autumn Wind”.

“We have a saying within Raider Nation, which is ‘Win, lose or tie…Raider till I die!’” said Brian proudly.

As he grew older, Brian began going to games in-person, which was an exhilarating experience made all the more meaningful by the fact that his mother was also a devoted fan. When she passed away from breast cancer in 2021, he said that attending games was a way to alleviate some of the grief.

“I had a hole in my heart and was seeking to fill it – or at least to distract from it,” he said. “And so I started travelling to Raider games, both in Las Vegas and away games around the country.”

He decided to take on the world record last fall after resigning from his job, when the opportunity presented itself for the journey of a lifetime.

“Coming out of the 2024 season, which was a bad one for the Raiders, I had my sights set on chasing a Guinness World Records title, something I had read about two years prior,” he continued.

“The idea had been ruminating in the back of my brain, and I decided it was finally time to take the plunge!”

Throughout his travels, Brian said the best part was meeting other football fans who shared his love for the game – regardless of where they were from.

“I have made so many new connections and friendships from the other fanbases, and I fell in love with the NFL community in general,” he said. “This was a huge factor in my decision to attempt this record!”

And over the course of his travels, he became accustomed to the different traditions and experiences that football fans have around the country. For example, Brian remarked that the Minnesota Vikings had the all-around best stadium experience, the Kansas City Chiefs have the best tailgate vibes, while the Seattle Seahawks fans were the loudest – a good sign coming into this year’s Super Bowl as they face off against the Patriots.

“As I prepared for the journey, I was so focused on logistics and travel, but it did not take me long to realize this was a people journey!” he continued.

“And I had the time of my life over the past few months!”

Brian’s adventure officially started on 18 September at Highmark Stadium, where he watched Josh Allen’s Buffalo Bills take on the Miami Dolphins.

Yet he didn’t have to wait long to see his Raiders play, because three days later he was in Northwest Stadium in Maryland watching them challenge the Washington Commanders.

From there, Brian’s schedule appears chaotic – as he skips around the country, even flying from Houston to Chicago to California in just five days.

Nevertheless, he clearly planned his route well, because he finished his trek in record-breaking time despite the airline chaos amidst the 2025 government shutdown.

On 30 November, he accomplished his first record for the fastest time to visit all NFL stadiums at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, after an incredible 72 day-long journey. As the Jets pulled off a win, he celebrated with the crowd – cheering on their achievement, as well as his own!

And on 4 January, after watching an additional 24 games, he finally claimed his second title for the most NFL games attended in a single season, with a remarkable 56.

Yet this day was extra-special for Brian, as he was awarded with the highest honour one could grant a Raiders fan – lighting the Al Davis Memorial Torch before the final game of the season. In front of the entire audience at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, the team acknowledged his undying loyalty and fierce passion for the sport, and congratulated him on his new record titles.

“This was without a doubt the highlight of my journey and top five experiences of my lifetime,” he said.

So congratulations on completing this incredible journey, Brian – you are Officially Amazing!
