Antonoff’s record-breaking win was powered by none other than Lamar – someone who has made music history himself. The rapper has previously earned multiple Guinness World Records titles for his impact on the industry, his chart success, and phenomenal performances. At the 2026 Grammys he extended his record for most Grammys won for Best Rap Performance to eight for “Chains & Whips”, the Clipse song he features on alongside Pharrell Williams.

But his big moment came when the five statuettes he took home on Sunday brought his overall total to 27 - two more than Jay-Z - to earn him the record for most Grammys won by a rapper.

With two record-breaking talents teaming up on “Luther”, the 2026 Grammys proved that history sounds pretty good. Antonoff’s career just reached a milestone and set a sky-high bar for future music-makers!
