These talented dogs can hang clothes on a washing line, paint and play instruments

Bonnie, a five-year-old Spaniel, and Simba, a three-year-old Border Collie, have captured the hearts of over 26.2K followers on TikTok with their impressive array of tricks.
The talented pawrtners in crime live in Reading, UK, with their owner and handler, Olga Jones.
Alongside Olga, Bonnie and Simba have entered the pages of Guinness World Records 2025 thanks to their multiple skills and impeccable teamwork, with abilities that go from recycling to doing the laundry:
- Fastest time to complete 10 side leapfrog jumps by two dogs (16.78 seconds)
- Most bottles deposited into a recycling bin by a dog in one minute (16)
- Most coins deposited into a bottle by a dog in one minute (13)
- Most clothes hung on a washing line by a dog in one minute (17)
Training for the records certainly presented an unprecedented challenge, with some tricks being more difficult than others, but the trio enjoyed every second of it.
"The most challenging of the four records was hanging socks, but it was also the most fun to figure out," Olga recalls.
Together, they experimented with different methods until they perfected the trick.
She humorously adds: "Besides the record goal, I was rather hoping that by teaching Simba to hang socks nicely and neatly, I might encourage my kids to do the same with their socks and clothes. Alas, this secondary goal was a partial success. I concluded that dogs are easier to train than kids."
Olga, Bonnie, and Simba are also committed to community involvement and environmental causes.
Olga spoke to us about her passion for recycling and eco-living, and how this commitment became the reason behind some of the trio’s records.
“Besides, I have noticed the immediate effect on people when they see Simba and Bonnie go and pick up plastic bottles in a park and put them into the bins," she carries on.
"Everyone who sees them feels compelled to join in and to help tidy the park together.”
As she mentions the positive impact of these tricks and how they can inspire others to recycle more, Olga hopes that she, Bonnie and Simba will be able to advocate for a greener lifestyle and get more involved in their local community, across the UK and internationally.
Despite their close bond, Bonnie and Simba have distinct personalities and preferences: just like two siblings, they love to spend time together while they playfully compete with one another during their training sessions.
"Bonnie is very much like a princess," Olga explains, "but not like a spoiled princess, more like a Princess Leia from Star Wars: capable, fun, but definitely a princess.”
She loves following Olga everywhere, and her favourite treat is fish, particularly a lightly steamed salmon fillet.
Meanwhile, Simba has a playful and energetic disposition.
He loves to play hide-and-seek and thrives when he's under the spotlight. Once, Olga recalls, he was served a personally cooked steak on a filming set, and the meal left him delighted.
"He [Simba] immediately becomes the lovable centre of any company," Olga shares.
However, the dogs' talent shines when they are together.
Their act continues to shatter new records, inspire the crowds and wow audiences on several live TV programs.
Although they didn't reach the semi-finals, the trio also participated in the 16th edition of the popular UK show Britain's Got Talent. During their audition, Bonnie amazed the judges by playing the piano.
Looking back, Olga recalls that she has always been passionate about animal training.
From a young age, she explored the art of teaching animals, ranging from hamsters and cats to dogs. She even trained a praying mantis, she remembers, teaching it how to jump.
The 45-year-old record holder is a former medical doctor and university lecturer and, today, she dedicates her life to her true love: working full-time as a dog trainer, dog handler and performer.
With Bonnie and Simba as prime examples of what can be achieved through patience, understanding, and creative training techniques, Olga educates other dog owners on how to nurture their pets' unique talents.
"Training tricks is a two-way communication," Olga explains. "Some of the tricks that we do are suggested by Simba and Bonnie, other tricks I suggest, and we develop them further."
This approach based on communication, fun and mutual trust has led Bonnie and Simba to master between 200 and 250 tricks each.
I think every dog has a talent, but not every owner has been able to find their dog’s talent and nurture it.
- Olga Jones
After entering the pages of Guinness World Records 2025, Olga has even more ambitious goals for her beloved dogs.
The three are currently working on several new record attempts, including parkour-related challenges (as both pets are Parkour champions), and innovative recycling concepts.
Moreover, as both dogs enjoy playing instruments, Olga set up a unique dog music band with the cheeky name ‘Pet Direction’.
“Bonnie and Simba love playing and composing music and I would like to support them both in developing and expressing their musical talents further,” she explains.
But Simba has a creative soul and aspires to be a painter (you could almost call him a barktist!).
“He is very arty and is currently learning to paint,” Olga goes on to explain. “I think this would be another great way for him to express himself and hopefully to inspire others and support some of the good causes with his artwork.”
As both dogs already work with TV and commercials, Olga's dream for the future is to see Simba and Bonnie appear as leads in a movie.
We also love bringing smiles and helping people to be more confident and comfortable around dogs. We regularly go and perform with dogs in nursing and residential homes, to vulnerable groups and a variety of kids groups, including Beavers and Scouts.
For the British dog trainer, however, the connection she has developed with her dogs is the most rewarding aspect of her work.
“I very much love the connection we have with each other and the deeper understanding where we get each other. I also love that I can be myself when training dogs—laugh, play, tease, and cuddle,” she reflects.
Under Olga’s loving guidance, Bonnie and Simba continue to enjoy their training.
Only time will tell what amazing new records the trio will break but, for now, we look forward to the next achievement of this one-of-a-kind dog act.

I am hoping they will do some records of their own too, particularly as there are some specific kids-only records!
