GWR themed craft workshops delivered to thousands of children across the UK
Guinness World Records have partnered with The Creation Station to deliver craft workshops to thousands of children across the UK.
In the workshops, children could either recreate the GWR 2019 cover, or have a go at the Do Try This at Home activities that feature in this year’s book.

These included the paper banger, the rubber band man, and the origami cube.
The activity culminated on 2 November 2018 with the workshops, including Baby Discover, Little Explorers, Create Club and Family Fun Sessions, reaching over 40,000 from locations all around the UK.
Both parents and children loved the events.
“I remember getting these books as a kid – I can’t wait to share them with my boys,” said one dad from a Little Explorer Sessions.

“The kids loved this in their after school Create Club – they want us to attempt a record in school now too!” said a teacher based in Macclesfield, UK.
However, the fun doesn’t end here!
Guinness World Records and The Creation Station are coming together once more before the year is out, to bring special GWR-themed Christmas workshops to children across the UK during the first half of December.

These workshops will include brand new 'Do Try This At Home' activities that marry together crafts and Christmas.
It is set to truly be the most wonderful time of the year!
